Human Design is a revolutionary synthesis of ancient mystical systems and modern quantum physics, transmitted in 1987 to Ra Uru Hu (Robert Allan Krakower) in Ibiza, Spain. It weaves together the Western astrological zodiac, the Hindu-Brahmin chakra system (expanded to nine centers), the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, and the 64 hexagrams of the Chinese I Ching, grounding this syncretic structure in the subatomic physics of the neutrino ocean.
The central physical premise of Human Design rests on neutrino mass—confirmed empirically by the Super-Kamiokande observatory in 1998 and Sudbury Neutrino Observatory in 2001. Trillions of neutrinos emitted by stellar furnaces pass through every square inch of the Earth every second. As this stream penetrates planetary bodies, it is modulated before passing through human beings, imprinting our genetic matrix with conscious activations at birth and unconscious activations 88 solar degrees prior to birth.
The BodyGraph serves as an exact mechanical diagram of individual differentiation. Rather than preaching an idealized moral philosophy, Human Design teaches radical self-acceptance based on mechanical Strategy and Inner Authority. By learning to operate according to the aura mechanics of one's Energy Type (Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, or Reflector), an individual eliminates resistance and deconditions the mental illusions of the "Not-Self."

Frequently Asked Questions About Human Design
Authoritative answers to primary inquiries, historical controversies, and esoteric mechanics.
What role do neutrinos play in the mechanics of Human Design?
In Human Design physics, the cosmos is permeated by a dense neutrino stream generated primarily by stars. Because neutrinos have tiny non-zero mass (empirically confirmed in 1998/2001), they interact physically with matter. As this stellar neutrino ocean passes through the planets and the Earth, it is filtered and modulated, imprinting our genetic matrix with specific gate activations at the exact moments of conscious birth and unconscious design calculation.
What is the difference between Design (Red) and Personality (Black) activations?
Personality (Black) activations represent conscious awareness—traits, thoughts, and gifts you directly recognize and identify with mentally, calculated at the exact moment of physical birth. Design (Red) activations represent the unconscious physical body, ancestral lineage, and genetic vehicle, calculated approximately 88 solar degrees (roughly 88 days) prior to birth. While you may not mentally recognize red traits, others experience them clearly in your presence.
Why are there nine centers in Human Design instead of the traditional seven chakras?
According to Human Design cosmology, humanity underwent an evolutionary mutation in 1781 coincident with Sir William Herschel's discovery of Uranus. Humans evolved from seven-centered, strategic, mental beings into nine-centered, transitional, receptive beings. The solar plexus mutated into an emerging center of emotional spirit consciousness, and the spleen and heart centers separated into differentiated biological functions.
How does a Projector's strategy of "Waiting for the Invitation" work in practice?
Projectors have a focused and absorbing aura that penetrates directly into the G-Center of others, making them gifted system guides. However, because their aura is penetrating, initiating actions without energetic recognition meets bitter resistance. The Projector strategy requires waiting for formal energetic recognition and specific invitation for major life decisions—love, career, living environment, and close bonds—allowing their guidance to be received with appreciation.
What is the Magnetic Monopole and where does it reside?
The Magnetic Monopole resides in the G-Center (sternum). Unlike physical dipoles, it only attracts. It performs two cosmic functions: it holds us together in the illusion of our separateness in form, and it pulls us along our unique geometric trajectory through space-time (destiny). Aligning with Strategy and Authority allows the Monopole to guide the vehicle smoothly along its correct life track.
